Video Layout Experiment

During the tutorial with Jim, he showed me a few tips on how to use premier pro when editing the video to be able to experiment with Layouts. Before I had switched between premier pro and after effects but it is much simpler to just use premier pro. Playing with different layouts, it was clear that if I were to continue with this idea I would need to re-film because some of the video were very pixelated. In terms of layout, my first ideas were to try and highlight certain area of the film focusing on either the hand movements or the mod roc. Looking at also reversing the video was an interesting function because the sound was still there but the actions were going against the sounds. Although it was interesting, I'm not to sure if reversing the video is the most appropriate for the piece mainly because reversing it I guess literally is going from start to finish back to the start, where as I'm looking at completing the process from start to finish. The layout would depend on the formate on which people would view the piece. If I were to present this on the phone, then perhaps splitting the video into four would be too overwhelming or the texture of the mod roc would be lost due to the small scale. Also by splitting the video too many times in my opinion became a little distracting and also thinking back to the question previous, why do I want the audience to view the video in a particular way? What does it say if I were to split it up into two or four sections and by splitting it up, would the overlapping sounds be too much (depending if the video is staggered (Figure 3))?
